Joint Meeting of the Afghanistan Payment System with the Afghanistan Electronic Money and Payment Institutions Association.

For the purpose of expanding electronic payment services, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Afghanistan Payment System, the Afghanistan Electronic Payments Association, and Electronic Money and Payment Institutions.

In this meeting, Mr. Sayed Abbas Rafiq, Director General of the Afghanistan Payment System, provided information on recent progress in accelerating electronic payment services and assured that all necessary preparations have been made to facilitate the launch and expansion of institutional activities in the market. The concerns of members were also heard, and the necessary guidance was provided to address them.

Emphasis was also placed on accelerating the process of collecting government revenues electronically, an initiative that will reduce congestion, save time, and increase financial transparency.

The Afghanistan Payment System remains committed to working with its member institutions to provide greater financial convenience for the citizens of the country.
